About Us ...

The Slade and Headington Children’s Centre achieved designation in 2008.

This is an exciting development for us - it means that both The Slade Nursery School and Headington Quarry Foundation Stage School are able to extend our services to offer families more support and opportunities.

Services include drop-in sessions for families, outreach workers, health visitor clinics, groups for discussion and information about supporting children’s learning and behaviour, breastfeeding and smoking cessation advice, and access to jobcentre plus services.

Services are offered on both sites so that families and carers can use whichever is more convenient to them.

Both settings now have year-round daycare, starting at six months at the Slade and from three at Headington Quarry Foundation Stage School
